Well, I did this sketch yesterday night... As I was overwhelmed by starfighter sadfeels. I may write a fic about this, btw.

I was thinking about a possible ending of the comic. In my opinion, Abel could be the "chosen one" to resolve the war, but I have a feeling... That it would involve his physical sacrifice. I don't think that he's gonna die, though. I want to hope that Cain wouldn't allow it, in the end.

So... Who knows?
In this picture, Abel is not dead, just heavily hurt. But Cain realizes it won't be easy to save him.

No, don't apologize! It's sad, yes - so sad - but also really beautiful and tender and heartbreaking. It provoked such an emotional response from me when I saw it, and I completely agree with all of your thoughts on that and I think it would be amazing if you wrote fic about it. I absolutely think sacrifice may be involved somewhere down the line, and I do believe someone is going to end up hurt. Probably Abel. D:
