This is gorgeous and so beautifully captured. I noticed that you had your ISO set to 400. Did you use a tripod for this shot or was it by hand? I ask because I am trying to improve my flower photography and can always use some good tips. I would love to get a shot like this

Thanks and glad you like it, dear! The recommendation usually is to use a tripod, but I normally take pictures out of spontaneity and hence by hand! I'm only an amateur to give you proper advice!

I am the same way....walking around with a tripod just seems like too much trouble for me. I take all my shots by hand as well. I find that it is challenging to take a shot with a higher ISO without it resulting in a noisy image. You must have very still hands, lol.
