WOW, I just realized youβd made great efforts to create a beautiful personal photography website and you founded PhotographyUniverse group! What an achievement!!! Β I donβt know how you can manage to do so many things, while Iβm still struggling to keep myself in good shape by working out (I started ice skating again) and feeding myself with decent food! Β
(Iβll find time to visit and enjoy your beautiful gallery!)

Thank you very much, Cecily. I just wanted to have a site of my own where I can decide everything myself (no fancy Eclipse or other useless 'improvements'). You should try yourself. It's completely free of charge at WordPress.com and they have many great templates to choose from.
As for having enough time, I retired early (60 years of age and spent 40 years on the labour market) and took up my old passion (photography) again. Apart from that, I only have my garden to look after (keeps me reasonably fit) and the usual domestic stuff, so I don't understand why you don't have time enough... Perhaps your days are shorter than 24 hours or something (just kidding)
Btw, I'm sending you an invitation a little later. I hope you will accept but don't feel obliged

Awww you've always been so kind to me, Keld! Β I hope to be able to produce some nice photos in the upcoming growing season to meet your expectation!Β
You're right about my days being shorter than 24 hours, especially during the winter (while I hibernate) Β Β I'll try to wake up more and be more productive (with you in mind as my role model)! Β

Glad to see you accepted, Cecily. I'm sure you will produce some nice new shots as soon as Spring takes hold at your place
I don't spend much time running the group because all submissions are auto-accepted, but only the better ones will reach the gallery folders. The rest will just sink deep down into the Submission folder. I want to keep quality over quantity, because that's the main purpose of the group.
I have been hibernating a lot too during this dark and dreadful Winter, but now my batteries are recharged and I'm just waiting for the next photo opportunity to occur. Unfortunately I'm having some problems with my knees, so I can't move around as much as I used to, but I have already spotted some interesting new wildflowers (or weed as you call it) in my backyard, so most of my new shots will probably be of flowers and plants.
Anyway, wishing you a pleasant and productive Spring, Cecily, and I will keep in touch with you
