Volume 3 just like volume 2 have a lot different changes then the original as there so much random stuff. It’s basically the same at the beginning until Cedric was kicked out of Beacon by Ironwood were Liz and Gore went with and told that they want to help end Elder’s Law. As they made it back, they saw that Cinder is making her attack at Beacon in order to get the Sacred Maiden’s power, as new Grimm appeared in a form of monsters.

After Ruby unleashed her power of her sliver eyes for the first time, it turned the Grimm wyvern into stone as Cinder was blind shorty as Cedric cut her eye out. As he transforms and from the blast awaken something up, as one rises and was bigger then a goliath and the other come as it was a stone that was awaken, Alter the Black Shadow Dragon. Now awaken and summons both Grimm and dangerous draconic like creatures called the Demonic Beasts as they kill and devour people, Kanade decided to let the whole world know that an ancient legend was real as she transforms into a dragon as the two titans engaged in a bloody battle.
