Added 11/9/09EDIT-Fiddled with the background a bit, and Togeras fireballs-hopefully it looks a little better.
See my misguided attempt at a background!
This is my half of a trade with , a battle between Togera and Raptros from War of the Monsters, taking place in Century Airfield.
I hope the background doesn't completely ruin it. XD

Wow, lol, this one is really old. Β I think it was one of my first BG attempts, actually....
I do BG mostly for Art Trades and commissions, to give them that little extra "zip."

It's not that bad for your first BG attempt...way better than my first attempt! Β Good scenery certainly adds a lot more difficulty to the drawing, but the results are often well worth the extra effort. Lovely thing about kaiju is it can teach you a wide variety of subjects.
I have to admit something.... I think you're part of the reason I got so motivated to put just as much work into the scenery as the subject. Β A whole year ago when I was a super noob here... I noticed that many artists were great at drawing all sorts of monsters, but they seemed to shy away from backgrounds. Β Since I suck at drawing... I figured maybe putting more effort on the things even the professionals shy away from would help me stand out a bit more.

this level was living hell for me..those damn dragons didnt stop, they were vicious!!
was especialy hard with Agamo, Togera, Raptoros, Magmo and Zorgoulon do to that their circle+triangle do not throw their enemy back at impact. Anyway awsome art!! keep up the awsome work

Oh, yeah, this level was hell for me first time through, because of course I chose Togera for my first playthrough, lol. Then with Preytor it was cake. XD
The slower monsters have the hardest time here, I think.

and you need fast melee(square) and a good special attack. I for example like playing Robo-47 do to his descent fast melee and good special attack..cause you can lock onto them >

Awesome! We need more WoM fanart out here. I honestly never forgave myself for never requesting this as an X-mas gift when it was more common *headdesks in agony*.
While I love Togera, the guy's 'running' speed can get a little annoying, especially when pit against the Raptros pair and Preytor. That's why I mainly stick to Agamo, what he lacks for in speed, he makes up for in smackdown! I believe I managed to dominate Magmo in three to five uppercut-swings on my first playthrough with the 'guardian' golem.
And if they ever do a sequal or remake, they really need to give the Raptros pair an origin. Of course I would have to buy a friggin' PS3 in order to find out what it is however...

We really do need some more WOM fanart. There isn't a whole lot, surprisingly, even if a lot of people have it and love it.
Yeah, Togera is...pretty damn slow. XD The battle against those two Raptros was the hardest for me when I ran through with him. I haven't gotten around to playing with Agamo yet, but so far I've been the best with Preytor. Flew through the adventure mode in fifteen minutes with her.
