Added 11/9/09EDIT-Fiddled with the background a bit, and Togeras fireballs-hopefully it looks a little better.
See my misguided attempt at a background!
This is my half of a trade with , a battle between Togera and Raptros from War of the Monsters, taking place in Century Airfield.
I hope the background doesn't completely ruin it. XD

AWESOME! I can actually hear the sound effects from the game looking at this - you know, that distinctive "pyew pyew" sound Togera makes when he fires his green fire balls. Awesome.

The background almost reminds me at first glance of an old side scrolling game, which adds a retro feel to it. Awesome work!

Love the monsters. How they are drawn and their design, but as an architect I think the buildings do need a wee bit of work. That being said, I actually like the background as a whole quite a bit. It provides a sense of scale and place. Another great work.

Yeah, my buildings need lots of work-I just thought that this fight needed a bit more than the monsters themselves, so I tried. I'll have to keep trying to get better at it.

What are you kidding? The background completes this thing like nothing else. It's one of the most complete pieces of WOTM art currently in existance. It's not quite to scale but its recognizable and thats largely what counts.
Both Togera and Raptros are bonafied badasses here. Though I would have embleshed the fire balls a bit more for Togera. Great stuff Scatha, Hopefully I can get your trade done some time soon. Gotta get that goof ball Guilala figured out first though lol.

Embellished as in flaring miniature suns condensed into bullets due to speed. Generally just bigger and more firey. Almost Gamera level I'd say; he is a mix of all those main lizard kaiju types after all.
