Rick is one of my favorite pencilers of all TIME. His Kabuki Scarab stuff is one of my favorite comics fo realz. I have 2 original pages of it hanging up in my living room I love them and him so much.
So yeah, every time I've had the opportunity to color him I've been grateful and it's been a blast! I LOVE RICK!

Which two Scarab pages do you have (if you don't mind my asking)? ...Scarab is hands down, the best Kabuki story.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who LOVES rick's work.

This was the BEST cover of all the ones I saw. I had to search around town to find it and I'm glad I did.

I take it this means you're no longer Marvel-exclusive (though presumably still swamped with work)? Or am I mistaken about the exclusivity dealie in the first place?

Actually, I'm still exclusive, but my contract has a clause in it that lets me work on creator owned projects... basically as long as it's not DC they're cool with me doing it. I ask permission first but they're cool about it.

My work sucked and all that.

Ahhh (damn)... i'll take a look at the issue anyway. How long do those colours take you by the way, I cant figure out whether i'm fast or slow (I have a feeling very slow might need to be added to the scale in my case lol)?

very raw; i think the colour pallet compliment the line-art well. Oh and good use of white to show water. Very effective. Fav.
