eh i dont think they officially stated that they are gay

but uh

i dont agree with it

i think they are pals, roomates, best friends; thats what they were trying to teach with children

bert and ernie are both a symbol of friendship  for younger children

they teach kids that its okay to be different and still be friends

there is this one quote that was sent out which stated "Bert & Ernie are not in love, they are puppets and they don't exsist below the waist" or something like that

i think they are really close but not THAT close.

i brotp em, they are rly cool pals and where my faves as a kid~

i just dont think they are that kind of material

kids can be told by the parents about sexuality and things like that

not have there childhood kind of crushed by making caracthers experience it

it might make children uncomfortable, ya know?

i just think they are better off best buddies instead~

Yeah I didn't really place much importance in what their relationship was labelled as to rather how their differences make them so compatible.
