Man... :S I'm disappointed with this painting. It had A LOT of lost potential.
I mean, the painting ITSELF is good, you combined colors pretty well, and everything it believable, even the feeling you wanted to pass.
HOWEVER...
It feels half done, the angle just doesn't feel right in that we don't see more of the human. You should've worked on increased height. It feels like you NEED to see more of him and more of the background to really love this painting. You just don't see enough, that's the problem.

It's a matter of composition. The character is not located in a comfortable area for the eye. It's not perfect, but it's OK for it not to be perfect, that is how we improve ourselves.

I guess so, criticism is a way for people to know what to improve on but I wanted the artist to know that not all of us share one critical eye.

Ooooooh. I really like this. I can practically smell the cold edge on the air. It almost looks like what you'd expect from a third-person close up in the game. Very awesomely done. Gotta give props to the Nords.
