I like Missouri a lot, at least the area I'm in anyway. As far as industry work goes, just did a few remote part-time commissions for a cake screen printing company, some casino graphic designs for an online gambling company, and some photoshop editing work for a photography studio, so nothing permanent. Been working at a coffee shop for the past 2 years, during all of that just to have something stable, but I'm actually quitting that very soon (just gave my 2 weeks yesterday) and I'm going to use my time to work very hard on the kickstarter for the video game we're working on and I also am going to open a gallery in the downtown area of Columbia for the shoes I paint (you can check out examples for that at www.etsy.com/shop/waffleink) . But yeah, that's what I've been doing, how about yourself?

Oh yes, the video game. How's that going?
I moved away from Denver back to my hometown...unfortunately, and now I'm renting a place with my sister until I get enough money to fly away. It's taking a lot longer than it's supposed to.
My life is geared toward writing and getting published. I realized art is something I have to do only for myself, as a hobby, but my real goal in life is to make a living as an author, so that's been my main focus this last year.

Try this one www.etsy.com/shop/waffleink&nb… ; Just gone done with a bunch of phone calls and paperwork yesterday and am going to have that gallery up and running on Feb. 1     The videogame is coming along very slowly, we don't have many people working on it is the main problem. Glad to hear you still have a passion that's keeping you going with the writing. I wish you all the best in that endeavor. What do you like writing about?

What sort of video game is it? I don't know if I've ever asked.
Yeah, it keeps me sane. Otherwise I'd just be some work drone... But I'm moving down to ABQ soon, so maybe that'll mix things up for me.
I'm working on a fantasy/scifi series. Aliens, magic, elves, that kind of shit. lol I want to write something serious and relevant some day, but right now I'm just doing something fun.
