To be perfectly honest, I drew this well before I drew the cover art and I also have a few others that I'm working on that were done before the cover. The only thing is that for this one and the other ones I couldn't complete them before because either I just couldn't place why I didn't like them or, as in this picture's case, I couldn't make the proper background. For this one that changed at about 3 this morning. I've actually realized that I prefer digital linearts to regular ones because of how smooth they look. I've also realized that as far as artists go, I'm a masochist who really hopes my hands fall off, because that is what will happen as I work with a friggin mouse >_<
