Great work here at Redrock!
It's fifteen minutes away from where I live, so I am a bit jaded, but you've some wonderful shots of the place!!!
If you've got the gear, I recommend being here during a thunderstorm. Waterfalls pop out everywhere but it's risky.
There's another place out here called Valley of Fire that I like, it is an hour north of Vegas. It is also well worth the time.
Cheers and keep the lenses clean!

Ahh Red Rock, one of the advantages of living in Las Vegas! Funny enough I know exactly where this picture was taken. Great spot to go closer to sunset and face east/southeast. You can get a great shot of some of the city lights in the background and the rural landscape in the foreground. Great shot!

Thanks, yea it is an easy spot to get to... the sometimes tragedy of nature photographers, we can hike for miles and find nothing and the best shot is right long the road. I have a several shots of the Red Rocks area at different times of day on my site. Your right it is a great area for photography.

wonderful photo and great scene !!
was it taken at sunset/sunrise? i think there is a need for some color correction as the temperature is warm (too yellow).
