This is truely a great photo and I like it a lot. You have chosen a great location for this series of photos. Quick question are you taking care to get this exact spot or just generally close? Back to the photo, the water carries the eyes from the left corner to the bottom right corner and this is accented by the direction of the trees on the right and the fallen tree on the left and even the little trail coming down the hill all work well together. You have captured great colors throughout the frame. I truely love long exposure treatments of water scenes and you have done very nice with this one. Thank you for sharing this wonderful picture with us.

Thanks! I am not sure I understand the question, I did deliberately take this picture knowing I meant to compare it with the foliage one from last October, but I was doing it 'close', I didn't try to crop or angle it exactly.

Years ago I saw a series of photo's in a magazine where the photographer actually marked the same exact position and the same crop ect. It was a series showing the four seasons. Not near as interesting as you photo but an intriguine idea.
