This photo reminds me of another Dickinson poem "Hope" both that one and the one you quoted are two of my favorites. Very nice picture and a hauntingly good interpretation of an execellent poem.

That perches in the soul,

... Is that the one? I love the first stanza, it's a very visual poem. It doesn't go as well with "Letting Go", but reading it has given me an idea for another photomanipulation ... thanks so much for pointing it out to me!!! And thanks for all the

That would be the one! I love the imagery in it. I think it was mostly the bird cage that made me think 'cage...bird...Hope!' I have a really bad habit of associating things that make most people go 'eh?'
I look forward to seeing the photomanipulation that is inspired by a truely lovely poem. You can't go wrong with Dickinson poetry!

Well hopefully I will get around to it sometime soon ... you know how the summer is, lol. I always think I'm going to have so much free time and then it ends up being busier than the actual semester was.
