"Sorry, Da." The young draconequus chick said, now making an effort to cease his squirming. "But Tia found a new glen, and it was so pretty, and we found these little bugs. They were all different colors and so cute! It was amazing, we fed them some apples and -"

"Discord," the adult draconequus currently carrying his son by the scruff of the neck said sternly. " You, Celestia, and Luna know better than to wander off so far. I expect you and Tia to set a better example for Luna, with her being so young."

Discord dropped his ruby eyes in shame, ears folding. "I'm sorry. We just felt so bored, and wanted to -"

"I know you three have been upset since we confined you to the castle grounds. But you are well-aware of the dangers at the moment. Galaxias and I have already told you three you must stay close enough to where we can protect you. Griffinstone is still withholding information about the rebels, and the treaty is on thin enough ice as it is -" Disarray stopped himself short when he noticed his little son looking up at him with worried eyes that matched his own.

"Ah. Never you mind, boy." He said gruffly. The royal adviser took a deep breath, shutting his eyes. It was such a fine line to walk, letting their children know how unstable things had really become.

Forcing a small smile, Disarray looked back down at the mischievous chick.

"Now. You mentioned you'd been practicing your thunder clouds?" He asked. Discord's eyes lit up, the looming threat pushed to the side.

"I almost got it down, Da," Discord lifted a paw as Disarray gave a small sigh of relief. "But...instead of water clouds, they keep ending up being cotton candy and raining chocolate milk."

"You are your mother's son. You might have to conjure one up for dinner tonight."

"Really, Da?!"

"Really. Now, tell me about these 'bugs...'

In Heart of the Draconequus , we explore the close relationship Discord had with his mother, Eris. However, we don't really take a look at Discord's relationship with his father, Disarray . pleaseexcuseolddisgustingart

Disarray was one of the most stern draconequus to have ever lived. He was rather a quiet creature, preferring to listen and gather information. He acted as royal adviser to King Galaxias, the father of Celestia and Luna. He is clever and serves as an invaluable source of advice and knowledge, assisting the King and Queen to keep Equestria peaceful.

Despite his intimidating demeanor, Disarray is an incredibly loving and protective father and husband. While Discord shares his mischievousness and adoration for chaos with his mother, he gets his sly and clever nature from his da. Sometimes his father can seem a bit...scary, especially when he is working and stressed out, but he nevertheless tries to makes time for his ever-impatient and sometimes lonely son.

I'd imagine Disarray would be voiced by Patrick Stewart and Eris by Gates McFadden.
