Ember may be cute, but I didn't too much care for her. She came on too strong when it came to her love for Spyro. Instead of letting Spyro gradually grow and fall in love with her on his own, she just goes "Spyro loves me, he just doesn't know it yet, but I'll be sure he knows it." I hate Ember.

I have recently been reading a fanfic. It is called Legend of Spyro: Age of Heroes. And Flame and Ember appear in it too. I'm starting to find new found respect for Ember, because of how much she actually develops through the course of the story. At least she's reasonable, and when she makes a promise, no matter how painful it might be to her, she doesn't back down, that and she has the power of healing, which is a very nice touch.
I think you should check out the story, there should be a link to it in a piece of artwork elsewhere on this site. I'm finding it to be so good that I don't want to stop reading it. And it takes place after the events of the Legend of Spyro trilogy. Yea, I'm starting to hate ember less and less after reading the story.
