The long awaited and hyped about Malaysian-made animated series is going on TV1 this Saturday! Huzzah!Based on a historical Middle-eastern figure , this series follows his fictional adventures (and misadventures) as a teenager with a cast of colourful friends - so expect lots of sword fights and humour wherever they go!
NOTE: I didn't make the poster, but Cheah and Kucha did. However, I did work on this series as a storyboard artist for almost 4 years, alongside a crew of AH-MAAAAAAAZINGG talents. Do check them out and know I'm not kidding when I say they rock!

I'm afraid that I'm unable to help you; I don't know where to find shared videos of the series (especially in English), and I have yet to stumble upon any DVD compilation of it either. Here's hoping someone would share it out, as I would love to have a copy of them tooΒ

Why don't they have the English version for season 2? ; _ ; The Malay voices sound so, ugh, fake and unemotional.

I'm afraid I don't have the answer to that - My contract with the project had long ended even before Season 1 was aired on TV.
To be honest, I wasn't even aware when season 2 was aired; and when I did catch it, I was really surprised that it was in Malay (and a lot of parts got cut out to make way for commercials). Here's hoping they will release a DVD copy soon!

hey dude firstly FANTASTIC job...me and a couple of friends really wanted to watch this series but cant get to do so from episodes 6 onwards (in english)...could you tell us if the dvd is out in store or if we could purchase it from any store? really really BADLY wanna watch the whole thing...please do let me know if you can...cheers!

Truthfully, even I don't know when the DVD release might come out (I'd like to get my hands on them too!). I will definitely let you know when it is finally out in stores

when will the adult version of saladin will be released? i mean, the saladin in the first trailer look older than in tje animated series. hee~~ it is just 13 ep? im searching 4 the 9, 10, 12, 13 ep on the internet, but i didnt find it.

An adult version? You mean the movie? To be honest, I'm not sure myself. My knowledge and involvement of the project only extends to 2 seasons of the animated series, and the series is more of an intro of the main character before moving onto the bigger screen (although the animated series is a non-canon to the movie itself).
There is currently 26 episodes to my knowledge. The second season will most probably air sometime this year, and I'm pretty sure they will air them in the middle east first

They are completely different characters, I assure you (Altair is fictitious, whilst the series I'm working on is based on an actual person)

Wow, the animation looks terrific. You guys really did a good job. Though, I find the subject matter rather humorous and strange. Saladin isn't one of those historical figures I pegged for having a light hearted adventurous youth where he fights in Roman style collisseums and has a token white buddy. But in America we have books about Abraham Lincoln fighting vampires, so I guess all history is up for grabs.
