Photoshop and Painter.... And my friends tell me to stay away from chocolate.Thanks, Andri, for the AVP artbook! I love it!!! I'm a big fan of Predators since their first movie, and I really really really love the novels (especially 'Aliens vs Predator : Prey'). I adore their culture, and would go so far as reading almost everything about them in Wikipedia. I have a thing for warriors and tribal culture, I suppose.
Unfortunately, I'm kind of disappointed with the AvP movie and their crossover comics - They didn't quite convey much of their nature, and in some ways got them wrong. Example (AvP movie): So a big hulking Yautja can swing xenomorphs side to side, crash trough walls, crack skulls, heave heavy objects... but can't tear a face hugger off its face? Oh, and they have infrared/x-ray masks, but can't see an embryo implanted in Scar's chest?? They wouldn't allow such abomination. And when it comes to the blooding ritual, the warriors don't mark themselves - their elders do, but only after the hunt is over. They would have the 'unblooded' stand over their last kill in a line, examine it, and then mark the warriors as 'blooded'.
Yikes... I'm starting to sound like a crazy fan.... *slaps self*
I admit that I have the anatomy wrong (especially the right hand), and the armor is not detailed enough. Was trying to be speedy
I really want Predator:Homeworld comic....

Dude I totally agree about the AVP movie. Did you notice that the Hunters where in Antartica when they hunted in only during intense heat waves before in Predator 1&2? Oh and don't get me started on how Scar marked Lex's cheek when Broken Tusk marked Machiko on her forehead like a normal hunter. And there's nothing wrong with going into rabid fan mode. So don't beat yourself up about it ^_^

Yeah, the the trailer's absolutely promising. Apparently, I heard that the movie didn't quite live up to fans' expectations

I wanted to go see the movie, but financial woes prevent me from doing so. It wasn't good? I'll probably wait for the DVD release to and rent it. Oh who the hell am I kidding as soon as it hits the shelves I'm going to own it; suck-fest or not. I heart me some Predators.

I like the AvP movie. I did not like that they killed off all but one of the Predators within 15 minutes though. I wanted Scar to live too!

I've read most of the AvP books, and I just bought two Predator novels: Forever Midnight, and Cold War.
So far, Forever Midnight has me confused, It said that the Predator leader was male...for now. It implied that they go through cycles, they're male for a while then they are female.
But in the AvP novels, there are males and then there are females. They do not change. It even went as far as to say that the females have boobs, since the babies are called "suckers".
This really got me confused, All the other books I've read were the same way, I prefer it this way. Changing gender is just way to wierd.0.o

It's really confusing. They keep switching from calling a predator a he to a she. Other than that, its a good book. I just overlook all references to that.
