And now for something a little different. A piece of fanart with full background and some perspective play. The outlines (except one tube and small things) were done with an ink feather, colors with Photoshop.It depicts Baloo and Kit from 'Talespin' being chased through the Air Pirate's flying, massive airship the Iron Vulture, chased by pirate Mad Dog and spotted by pirate mechanic Ratchet, who might join in the chase...~
I love Ratchet, even though he's an incredible minor character~ That was pretty much the first time I drew Baloo, I believe...

Wow, da hast du dich ja richtig ins Zeug gelegt! Ein angemessenes Spotlight für Ratchet.
Ich finde den Stilmix aus traditionellen Outlines und digitaler Coloration total schick. Dadurch wirkt das Bild noch lebendiger als es eh schon ist. Ich würd mich freuen, häufiger solche Bilder von dir zu sehen. Nur Mut, du hast es drauf.

The perspective is really cool. You really get the atmosphere of the Iron Vulture. The shadows and expression on Ratchet are great; he looks kind of annoyed from being distracted from his work ^^
I like Ratchet too... all of the air pirates really... they just have a certain charm to them XD Too bad there's not a whole lot of fanart of them (even Karnage doesn't have THAT much fanart

Aw, thank you~ I looked up pictures of the interior of the Iron Vulture to at least try and make it look like it. Yes, I'd say he's rather annoyed at the distraction and seeing Baloo - I can imagine he has to repair a looooot more whenever Baloo and Kit 'visit' the Iron Vulture and destroy everything, more or less~ Poor Ratchey!
I must agree that the air pirates have a certain charm to them, I wish they had explored a more private dynamic between them in the show, I believe they were always 'working', I mean, pillaging~
They could use more fanart indeed, and Karnage as well, that lovely captain of rugged pirates~
