And done... sort of. I was more focused on finishing the building thing more than anything....So... ta da? I really... really need to work on.... everything. Lol.
Ultra super bad wip....
This is the one I've been working on. I suck at BG's, so it's hard.... And I know the background structure is odd. It's meant to be like that... though I'm trying to think of more ways to make it realistic/better looking.
I would love some comments/critique on the BACKGROUND. Just ignore Trey there, lol. I just really need some input before I continue it. *Note; the ground is on a flat desolate horizon, into galaxy, blah blah blah.

...I hate to say it but the background looks flat. Like, the buildings and things. The structure is cool, but...yeah. And I can't say 100% what could fix it besides perhaps making your shading more sharp and extreme. Like the bottom round thing with the design could probably have the shadow darker and extend further in with maybe a highlight? I don't know...
But the planet itself and the space clouds are cool. Not sure how Trey's just chillin' in space there XD but hey~
