Heehee, that was sort of the Internet-shorthand-paraphrasing version of it. He does actually talk about Master Reaver needing to get out his whip to correct Barry's uncouth ways, though, and Page calls him a strange little man. Which he definitely is.
Side note: As Barry was talking about the Hobbes being sexy, I was like, "Ugh, fantastic, Rule 34, I guess." Then I started thinking, he says he likes their big mouths. Reaver has a big mouth, both in the sense that he talks to hear his own voice, and that he literally has a wide mouth. And those magic-using Hobbes have a very similar fashion sense to his. SO. I am left wondering, was Barry attracted to Reaver because he is Hobbelike, or to Hobbes because they are Reaverlike?
