And onward to the skin.This turned into a more "wip" shots than a descriptive way of how I do things. It's really hard to tell people what you're doing, when you're not entirely sure what that is.
Anyway, I hope this provides some gems of advice.
This should all be possible with as mouse as well as a tablet. It'll just.... take a lot longer. ^^

um, all colours are applied with a round basic photoshop brush, all smudging was done with the funny looking one I put on the tut.
If that wasn't helpful, let me know.. i'm not sure what you mean about "a black colour"
