I joined my parents last weekend and we went to The Squirrel pub near Battle in East Sussex. I had chicken wings to start, followed by pork tenderloin. The chicken wings were in a rather bland batter, which could have been more spicy, but the tenderloin was nice.
We were accompanied by my grandmother who has dementia. She kept forgetting what she had ordered.
The choice of beers was a bit limited; my parents said they were usually better for beer. I had a Peroni lager.
