Inventa was an evil scientist sent to the Amazon prison on Transformation Island. She preferred taking over the world to reforming. She therefore used her brilliant mind to escape. With the help of several fellow prisoners, she captured Hippolyta and Wonder Woman.

Inventa then made Wonder Woman take a series of deadly tests, including rolling massive boulders up a hill and finding her way out of a labyrinth. Wonder Woman survived and Inventa and her girls were rounded up to be sent back to the island prison.
