This is something really personal, which up until this moment I had no intention of sharing here, but I felt like doing so now, so here it is.

Last year ended on a really high note, with some pretty exciting news, but then the start of this year proved to be quite challenging and painful. Thankfully, I've been graced to come to a place where acceptance comes easy, and for that reason my heart stayed wide opened, soft and filled up with trust, even while going through the loss and the sadness. In my personal experience, divine timing is everything, so rather than fighting what is, I do my best to embrace it, knowing that it is so for a reason and "what will be, will be, qué será, será"...

"To offer no resistance to life is to be in a state of grace, ease and lightness. This state is then no longer dependent upon things being in a certain way, good or bad." — Eckhart Tolle

"Surrender — the letting go of mental-emotional resistance to what is — also becomes a portal into the Unmanifested. The reason for this is simple: inner resistance cuts you off from other people, from yourself, from the world around you. It strengthens the feeling of separateness on which the ego depends for its survival. The stronger the feeling of separateness, the more you are bound to the manifested, to the world of separate forms. The more you are bound to the world of form, the harder and more impenetrable your form identity becomes. The portal is closed, and you are cut off from the inner dimension, the dimension of depth. Why I'm sharing this here, partially, is so it may serve as a small reminder of the depth that often eludes us when interacting online. What we're sharing online is but a spec of what's actually going down in our lives. And I personally, like to keep that in mind when interacting with people, not only online, but in general. For I'm aware that we always see a very limited image of the other person and so often more of our own mind than of who that person actually is.
