There's been some confusion on this, I think. For a while I'd accidentally added this picture to the MEGALO gallery, and as a result, I think a lot of people assumed this was the canon aftermath of MEGALO. That was not my intention at all, and I've since removed this one from the comic gallery. MEGALO doesn't have a canon ending because I don't want there to be a one.
That said... what I do want is for MEGALO's ending to be interpreted entirely by the reader. So if you think this is how it ends, then heck, go for it.

What exactly is the story behind this? I saw a comic dub, and i was confused, then a clicked a link in the description that took me to that comic on tumblr, but I didn't get any answers, and then a link to this, and I'm still confused

Maybe it's the pacifist route and Frisk asked Sans kill them, the to keep the world from reseting and keep their friends in a happy ending forever and after almost killing Frisk Sans can't take it anymore and asks them to stop and risk another reset, since it's no happy ending if Frisk is dead, but Frisk refuses taking the risk of reseting and hurt every body again.
