Strange, I don't remember Sam having green leggings or a green oval on her shirt. Guess the ghost's glowing reflected on the purple so much that it gave the appearance of green.

that coulda been it cause they were only green for that one scene
(I just rewatched it to confirm)
then again theres one shot where she's not even wearing leggings so maybe the colorists were just being lazy that day

Well Danny Phantom did air back in 2004 and animation errors still occur but at least at that time the errors were much fewer than how cartoons were filled with errors back in the 80s and 90s.
