Viola! This was inspired by the song "Ending" from Saiyuki Image Album 1.

I am very proud of this work because of several reason. One is because it's not anime! Two, I love how I was able to color the skirt and I think I have improved in coloring traditionally.

It only took me a while to do the sketch and I'm glad that I decided not to ink it. Pardon the low quality but I had a hard time cleaning this up. Also the way I color but I promise to work on that. ^^

If you all have noticed the title has the word "First". Well, that's because more will be coming soon! Yes, it seems that my current addiction is puppets. xD By the way, sorry if the anatomy is a bit off. ^^:

For the skirt, I had to think carefully because I wanted to use a lot of colors for it. I was trying to go for what I had pictured in my mind but I couldn't exactly do it and it came out like this. But nonetheless, I love the skirt.

I also love ballet even though I'm not that good at it yet...xD;;;

Sketch was done with a No. 2 Mongol Pencil (Yes, not a mechanical pencil. xD ) and colored with Faber-Castell Watercolour Pencils. Scanned and cleaned in Photoshop.

Note: I did not use a mannequin to draw this. I was planning to so I placed mine in front of me but I barely looked at it! o_O
