During the New year flooding of 2484, she met Terrence Kyne during rescue efforts, and the two began a relationship. They married in 2485.
Dr. Amelia Kyne was brought to the attention of CEC for her amazing performance saving lives in the aftermath of a brutal twelve car pileup in New Havens, Luna. Fifteen people died, but experts agreed the number would have been significantly higher if not for her efforts. Dr. Kyne and her husband were offered employment under CEC Medical and Science Division.
Dr. Amelia Kyne and her husband regularly performed free medical care as part of the Church of Unitology's Humanitarian Outreach programs, most notably on Kreemar.
Amelia Kyne is noted to regularly attend Church Service with her husband, but remains only a Parishioner. Other than her attendance with her husband, she seems indifferent to Unitology.
Amelia Kyne is noted for her calm, but kind demeanor, and is noted to be a particularly caring doctor, as noted when she prevented a man from committing suicide in New Portland. She is known to have a particular gift with treating children.
