"Black Marker surface details and internal structure.The Surface of the artifact is very smooth, almost polished. Carved or etched into the surface are markings. They are clearly some form of writing, and extremely complex.
The Markings glow a pale-blue color. Radiation readings normal.
The insides is as smooth as the outside.
The substance is similar to granite in appearance, but is almost as hard as corundum. Even diamond abrasives barely cut it.
There is a strangely uniform mineral grain structure running along the edges.
The markings are made of the same material as the rest, which does not glow. While the substance resembles stone, it is too uniform to be a naturally-occurring material.
Oddly, the markings only seem to glow in the presence of living creatures."

Made in Krita. This one was the hardest in terms of details, and nearly killed my hand, but was also lots of fun. Krita's pencil tools can do some wonderful things.
