oof i really cant draw humansso this scene is from my pokemon fanfic, carry on. i've uploaded a ref of anna on here before, but i don't believe i've talked about anyone else. :0 courtney is on the far left. she's a flying/dark-type trainer, and anna's first partner, whom she meets at falkner's gym. next to anna is matt, a mixed-type trainer and anna's love interest ofc-- and next to him is sophie, anna's childhood friend who came to johto after living in alola for awhile and ran into her, joining the group as the third partner. she's also a fire-type trainer.
i wrote this scene awhile ago, and i really liked it, so it gave me the inspiration to draw it. ;v; obviously, its not that good lmao, buuut i tried uh

dark types are really cool. they're definitely one of my favorite type, but i also really like fire and electric, too. plus, my two favorite pokemon, cyndaquil and mareep, are fire and electric respectively uwu haha

aw, i don't think it's that bad. besides, it sorta makes sense, since surskit is probably based on those water bugs (so its typing is perfect XD) and masquarian's more like a moth, i guess?

Yeah, that's true. We have a lot of Bug/Flying but none of them can seem to know the move Fly.

that's true. i think the main reason tho is bc a lot of them are pretty small, and although Fly is no longer an HM, it used to be aaand i feel like that decision was probably heavily based on the thought if someone could ride that pokemon to fly on. ifff that even makes sense.
honestly i used to not like bug pokemon very much buuut i find a lot of them rlly cute now :3 there's a lot of good ones with great designs

ooh, nice. the switch has a lot of good games but most of them are also $60, while 2DS games are a lot cheaper, usually more around $40, so that's important to keep in mind. also, i heard the switch lite is pretty good :0
