- About the opening: Monthly Update: October + OpeningGROUP OPENING As announced during last month's update, Kynheim's third group opening is now upon us! Please make sure to read this announcement as well as the "How to Join" page on our website thoroughly before you send in your application. Empty join requests will be declined, as will requests that don't match the following rules: Applications may be send in from October 1st - October 14th (countdown can be found on the dA front page) Only Selcouth is open to new members during this opening! Please do not send your applications via group note. To join Kynheim, it is mandatory to join the group server on Discord as well. There are 7 open slots. The opening is NOT first come first serve.In case there are more applications than slots by October 14th, we will review all applications and accept the 7 most fitting characters into the group. Factors that will be taken into consideration are: ➤ How well does the character fit into the group? ➤ Does the character make sense in the game world and pack? ➤ Does the character feel well-rounded? ➤ literacy (we're not strict with this, but we do have to understand the written app) ➤ art (this is not about art level or style, but about whether someone does art or not.)➤ player activity in other groups/activity in generalMONTHLY PROMPT: AUTUMN MEMOIRS Welcome to the ever-so-beloved month of October! You know what that means? Spooky season! The wolves of Kynheim don't know about tricking or treating though, and clearly Halloween doesn't only revolve around pranking your neighbors - it's the time of the dead, of spirits, and of remembering those who have passed. And what better way to do so than to depict your character's relation with death? During this month's event, it is encouraged to visualize your wolf's lost family, friends or even their fear of dying. Maybe they revisit a scene from their past as a silent observer, or maybe they envision the ghosts of their loved ones dance beneath the moon. Or who knows? Maybe they face their own fear of death and destruction? OOC info ➤ During October, you're encouraged to draw lost spirits, ghosts or otherwise supernatural entities in a way that your wolf would imagine the deceased. ➤ These are not real in the physical world, but they may be real to your character's psyche. ➤ You may depict your character talking to passed wolves or watching them as though they were around. ➤ Blood, distorted bodies aso. are allowed, as long as they are depicted in an artistic and somewhat tasteful manner. (Just follow dA guidelines and you'll be fine.) ➤ Completing this prompt will +1 additional Fang ➤ The prompt can be completed several times, as long as the artwork/lit depicts significantly different scenes.
