A summer’s evening in Petergate, overshadowed by the towers of York Minster.Based on a theme used in childrens’ books where a particular character has to be located among lots of others (e.g. Where’s Walley? series)

First look at the painting i thought "oh. unique buildings!". And then i saw the title of the painting and thought "Oh this makes sense now" Nice one! Love the way the buildings are distorted.

Hi there. Thanks you so much for your kind comments and for faving my . I'm afraid the distorted background is just my usual style. Hope you managed to spot the drunk without too much difficulty!
I Like your use of oil pastels - 'Tulips for Mum' has huge impact.

Hi. Thanks for ur comment on my painting too
Yea. I noticed distorted background is your usual style from other paintings in the gallery. But the first which caught my eye was 'drunk' coz it's a brilliant work.

this is really good work! it's like reading a story in pictures... i just have to stop and see their facial expressions, wonder where they're going and what they're thinking.
