Well my second creepier version of my upside-down-headed doggy...

Appearance:
Strays are dog-like creatures that are about the same size as a doberman and have no fur to cover their bare, mangy skin.
Their heads appear to be turned upside-down, for their eyes, nose and gnarled little ears are located on their lower jaws. They have huge rodent-like incisors that are the same size as their canines. And because they are usually seen with their mouths open, their tongues can be seen hanging from the roof of their mouth.

Characteristics:
Strays often shuffle on streets scavenging for corpses or searching for prey. They often move in pairs.
They circle their victims for a short time and then one will go for the victim's leg immobilizing him, while the other aims for his throat.

Strategies:
The easiest way to get rid of them is to shoot them from afar. But if you are saving ammo, just shoot one dead, and kill the other one with a melee weapon.
