There's a bad moon on the rise

The winds had died down by the time Macgyver had reached Flora Fields, land just outside of Mhor. The dark wolf could still taste the sour, bitter taste of blood in his mouth. It lingered from the prior fight, though the white wolf had done its best.. It didn't last long. He was surprised to have found one of the foul smelling strangers alone, and he felt no shame bringing it to meet its maker. Whatever the hell that would be. These wolves were far stranger than he would have ever imagined, their throats, barbed with thorns. Likely for protection in a fight. It was likely why most wolves fell prey to them, they cheated even in a fight. It just made the scarred wolf hate their very beings even more
They had been taking too much life, and now it was their time to meet their death, and the dark loaner was more than happy to be apart of it.

He knew that Kaldr had likely headed in the direction of the coastal pack, or well, he hoped.

His paws skid down the grassy lands, heading towards the fields opening. Branches cast shade overhead as he walked calmly, his tail swishing as he listening to the silence... it was too quiet. Did that mean the white wolves that plagued the lands were nearby?
He was going to find out, and it didn't take him long.

As he crept through the forest, his eyes set upon a bright pale pelt. Blood and guts clung to its maw, legs and underbelly stained by blood. His snout twisted in disgust as he heard Ghostface land above him in the trees, the bird of prey sounded alarmed. ''Macgyver.. this.. this feels like a trap. Why would one sleep so out in the open like this?'' He managed to shrill out quieter than normal.
The dark wolf listened, gaze focused on the sleeping wolf. ''You already know that I do not fear death, Ghostface. There is a chance our paths will be diverging towards different paths tonight, my friend.'' His words caused the bird to puff out his feathers in alarm, eyes round as he watched Macgyver lower himself as he got into a hunting stalk. The dark wolf crept towards the sleeping wolf, the scent of death and rot growing stronger, souring in the summer nights heat. Though, by this point it was heading toward dawn.

The sky seemed to be bleeding blood, the colours not their usual warm morning glow as the moon began to become less strong in the sky. Everything seemed to be glowing in a red light as the wolf slowed to a stop, reaching the resting wolf. Sleeping like a newborn pup after its first nursing. How dare you rest, you disgusting bastard. He thought with a snarl, his face twisting as he barred his teeth.

''Wake up, deaths howling.''

Just a little note, I do not condone the path Macgyver has gone down in learning what happened to Stormgard.
Just felt like I SHOULD clarify that.

Y'know when you are so tired from murdering that you don't hear a wolf creep up on you?
Hive wolves know that feeling.

Also, are those the ghosts of the murdered Stormgardians behind him... or the wolves Macgyver has killed in vengeance?
