Description
So, my friend was telling me a story about how she saw a duck in a tree and initially I was like "yeah, whats your point? it's a bird in a tree BIG WHOOP" But the more I thought about it the more weird it got, I mean this is Ireland, as far as I know ducks here don't chill in trees, they chill in the water eating bread. Β Never in my life have I seen a duck in a tree.ΒRelated content

I own ducks and know a little about different species. There is a lovly type of duck called a wood duck. (You actually drew the male in your picture.) The parents will actually live in a hollowed out tree (But like owls.) the tree usually grows over the water so when the eggs are laid and hatched, the ducklings can actually leap out of the tree and splash into the water below. It's really cute.

Awee! That actually sounds very cute! I'm assuming we have ducks that live in trees in Ireland, just none that I ever saw!
