In which Galacta Knight tries very very hard to impress his crush. And it works.

Although it doesn't look much like it, what you see here is actually fire. Magic fire, (obviously), but fire. The reason it looks so very unlike most fire you've probably encountered, is because, firstly, Galacta decided it would be more impressive if it were multiple colors, and he ended up pushing himself into creating a full rainbow spectrum of flames. As for why these flames don't really look like flames... Think of this as 'fire on a leash'. He's keeping the flames so tightly under his control that the whole swirl of them he's generating is acting more like a fluid than normal; like a sort of 'stream' of fire that he's forcing to bend and coil and 'dance' the way he wants it to.

You can imagine it takes a lot of effort not to let go and have the thing rip apart into a firestorm.
Given the fact that he is a dork and his crush is watching, I think we ought to be impressed.
