You have survived 2012, was it tough?What? Of course it is a serious question; didn't you hear that the world was supposed to end that year?
Oh I see, so it was true. It was indeed just a liaison of lies, a reminiscence of rumours, a fat juicy joke.
Ahh, but judging by the way you speak, I can tell that you were no ordinary person. No, you did not believe in all these rumours, you can be proud.
As improbable as it sounds there was one man who, back in the year of 2009, in a predilection of the future, created this here-so stamp.
I sincerely think that this way of thinking should be honoured. Here, take the stamp and keep it with you at all times in memory of all who denied the cataclysmic fate of the Earth.

funniest part is, the mass media blamed it on the mayans, but it was in fact the mass media that said the world would end on 2012.
the mayans said it would be the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next cycle.
nothing ends with the mayan calendar, thats why it is a circle. it goes round forever.
bring on 2013, i say. im in the truth movement and i have been telling people for the past year and a half that 2012 wasnt going to end anything, only that it would be the beginning of big changes.

Yeah. I've heard about that. There's two legends about the 'End of the World' in 2013.
The first one was 'The legend of the Crystal Skull.' Legend has it that if we find all of the Crystal Skulls before the end of 2012 it'll suppousedly spare earth from a terrible fate. So far we've found all of the Crystal Skulls expect one. It's suppoused to stop a huge comet by using it's power to throw the comet off course so that it'll 'miss' earth.
The second one was 'The Mayan Calendar of legend.' The Calender dates that 'The End of the World' will suppousedly happen on Dec 12, 2012 and Earth will be destoryed on that day. Probbaly by a the same comet mentioned in the 'Crystal Skull' of Legend.
The way I see it either we succueced in finding all of the Crystal Skulls by the end of 2012 or we kiss our asses goodbye.
.....Or mabye not and the legend turns out to be fake and we all live to see old age. We'll just have to wait until the end of 2012 and see what happens.

Yeah, when you think about it; it's not possible to predict something like that, especially giving a precise day.
And absolutely, I'm sure that there are several ill intentioned people out there who will use this 'mayhem' to their advantage. We've already seen many stories, books, reports, and even films. It's not hard to believe people will try anything, even bad things, to monetise this.

were not predicting that 2012 happens with the earth being eaten by the sun or just blowing up, theres a metior that is big enough to wipe out the human species. i forget the name of it but every year when it passes, it gets closer and closer and judging by how close it was last year, 2012 is when it going to hit earth

The infamous film where a huge meteor crash is imminent, which, if it would hit would result in total annihilation. So they send 'astronauts' to go and blow it up.

The "institute for human continuity" is also a group that needs to shut the hell up. They claim that since 1978 they studied through scientific research that there would be enough disaters in destruction of the entire world. But if I recall correctly, scientists have tried to study the weather and predict what is going to happen, and not all of them were right, so how can we be so sure about 2012 being true?
Not to mention their claim on "governments of the world wouldn't listen".

Ahhh, I'm not entirely sure at all what the motives behind it all are.
You're right it probably involves money somewhere, but I'm guessing it's the media who's making the most out of that. I've not really looked into it further and so am not sure if people are actually 'preparing' for it... some people are?! Haha!
