My entry to pRO's loading screen contest to celebrate the launch of the Thor server with Ragdefender. Third party software should be kept out, hence, the theme of the players taunting the 'bots' while Thor keeps them away. The god, Thor's design was inspired by playing too much Valkyrie Profile on PSP. I really wanted to keep his design away from the previous designs for Thor.It won second place.
It's a composite image I rushed over a weekend. Each group was drawn and colored individually, namely: the bots, Thor and the real players. Put them together in one image and added effects, high-lights and others.
Major mistake was that I forgot to save a larger version of it....hihi...
This is the high-res, less gritty version of the loading screen, since the contest mechanics limited file size to 120k.

Pencils: 0.5 blue lead
Ink: 0.005, 0.1, and 0.3 Sakura Microns
Colors: Photoshop CS

And you only got second place? Man, I would peg this for a first place piece any day. I mean, the amount of detail, the time it obviously took, the colors are exceptional.

Cool! When I saw that old really funny RO comic I was afraid your account had died by now, and If it hadnt then that you didnt play RO any more. Glad to see I was wrong about both. Very nice pic anyway Good back round, nice color, Unless god enters the contest I think youll win. But I dont know who the big character in back is. Also..well....What are those supposed to be, zombies?Bots?

Alive and kicking~ the character is supposed to be my rendition of Thor (god of thunder)..and yeah, the other characters are the bots. I've always referred to them as zombies - hihi
