This is the second of four artworks that I had no intention of uploading to my gallery but I am doing so because of a discussion with after viewing and her description. She made a suggestion that each of us would submit one or more arrtworks that we had decided to leave on the hard disk for various reasons. I have at least twelve of these artworks that I spent a lot of time on but for various reasons, have never uploaded. I would like to dedicate "Camelot" to her, a friend who inspires confidence.

This artwork began as an exercise in landscape and matt painting.

Sir Galahad, son of Sir Lancelot is reunited with his father, journeys to King Arthur's court at Camelot. Merlin prophesised that Sir Galahad would be successful in his search for the Holy Grail and by passing tests set for him it is established that he will be the purest and greatest knight of them all.
