Description
LILYΒ© Coral McBride --- Do not alter or use without my permission.
Originally this artwork began as an exercise in painting flowers. I thought that it would be a good idea to practice skin tones and then creating a texture out of the flowers, which became the surround of what was originally an oval portrait. I then added the art deco frame to it as an exercise in positioning on a finished artwork. This is the first flower name portrait of three because it is a good learning exercise.
Thank you as always to the talented and very generous stock artists listed below:

Hello there! You have been included in my November feature, lucky, lucky you! Β
November FeatureAnother Month, another feature. Make sure to check out "Dreams of Geneva" @ https://www.facebook.com/dreamsofgeneva.Β It's for DA artists to use and promote their work, contests, sneak peaks, earn commissions etc. Run with many artists from here.
I am always looking for new artists. We try to show more than just one style. That way the audience can be a bit broader. The most common is photomanipulation, but we have photographers, models, painters, fine arts, graphic arts, etc.Β
All of whom I want to thank this month.Β

I love the soft tones in this one so much! The dark eyebrows and full lips really give a Pre-Raphaelite look to her, lovely work!

So pretty!! Adore those colors! She seems a little sad. And yet the colors suggest love or romance. Maybe pensive? Really love these colors you're working with here.

Thank you once again. Yes, I was aiming for pensive rather than sad. Memories
