Description
I started this in August, and I got distracted and ended up putting this off until I stumbled across it. Now here it is, but there are some things I HAVE to make apparent.This is what I noticed too late, but thinking about it now, I'd still have continued since Xentax is down. My extraction method extracted the models in OBJs and a large amount of those files were inaccessible for Noesis. The ones that I could preview and extract, contained extra models, as if those models were the ones I couldn't access, and they didn't come with bones besides Nina's hair , unlike blondebombmag's extraction. Looking through his blog , it's obvious their extractions were cleaner than mine was. I neglected that back then, and Xentax is down, so I can only try to see what I can do with what I remember and what I have on hand (which has failed me on trying to re-extract the Shinobido PSP models).
Back on topic, mostly all of the FBX contain other models, besides the maps (excluding map parts).
Which is annoying as shit, but I'll digress. They are whole, and T-posed. We'll just have to separate them, apply the textures, and rig them ourselves. I WILL say, though, that I noticed that there was a pattern for the specific models that get grouped. These groups are determined by events in-game. Examples;
1. For the sniper models, you'll also find Alan, Nina, and the sniper rifle. And in another model with the sniper, you'll have alan and the enemies you gun down.
2. I saw Anna and Heihachi grouped.
3. Nina and Anna grouped.
4. I KEEP SEEING NINA GROUPED WITH LANA FUCKING LEI!!!
5. Nina grouped with Enrique on as many occasions... but Lana Lei is in almost every one one with Nina minus the "chr_nina" like a yandere.
Also, while preparing to upload, I was checking out blondebombmag blog posts and noticed that he mentions specific models used for cinematics, which contain more detail and poly counts than the in-game models. I'm guessing some of the models found in groups could be those cinematic models, but that's only a guess. I need to check the "chr_" files though, since I don't think it'd be wrong to assume that those ARE the models the player control in-game. I like my poly count high.--------------------------
SO, on a more fortunate note;
When I extracted DOA2 Dreamcast pack, the textures were already assigned, but when I extracted DOA2U through DOAOL, the textures were already imported.
For this one, the textures aren't assigned or imported, BUT the materials are named the same as the textures, so you can go to the material and drag and drop from the File Browser.
TLDR;
1. This rip is by far my most flawed, but I don't have the skills to confidently turn back to the beginning and yield better results. That said, this IS something. You'll just need a similar level of patience as with assembling DOA2 models.
2. Drag and drop the textures that matches the material names.
3. Importing meshes is like getting a 2+-for-1 deal that you actually didn't ask for, nor want, so have fun separating them.

Enjoy.

blondebombmag I used some of your images from your blog. Do pardon me, please.
