Personality:
Chinook is a gruff, world weary, old man of a grem. He's a bit of a grump and an asshole to boot, not taking kindly to anyone doing him wrong or pulling an attitude. He won't hesitate to put anyone in their place if they've crossed him enough. While he seems like a shut in, he does like to be social and it'd be a lie to say he does want love and company. He sees himself as being too old a dog to learn new tricks though and will say he's past his prime, but he really isn't. While his fashion sense can't be called on point, he does love to accessorize via collars and eye patches.

He has a huge soft spot for puppies and dogs in general. His frozen old man heart will melt around a litter of puppies, even though he tries to not show it. He wants to pet every dog.

History:
Chinook was made for a hunter who wanted a way to connect and run his dog team better through the frozen woods as he trapped and hunted to put money on the table. He took to the work instantly and made a great leader and companion to his master. He helped him at any step he could, including socializing with people as his master sold meat and hide. Chinook was a happy young adult of a grem until there was an incident.

One day, when on a usual run, a storm hit. There was an accident which resulted in the death of Chinook's master as well as the scars and damage to his eye. The grem did what he could to get as many dogs back home as possible, but their master couldn't make it. Chinook couldn't take it and became a shut in for a while, filling the void left by his master with the dogs left. He ended up running them as a pack and continued to hunt and work as his master once did.

Chinook has become more social than he once was, venturing to meet others and visiting more populated areas, however he is still a bit gruff and could seem stand offish at first glance.
