But Rainbow bat pony doesnt have that feel, that "night". What do you think? Why they call them BAT ponies? Because they are "connected" to night. They have dark, purple and blue colours to get not as visible at night. They are predators (at least some of them) afterall, and let'S say it straight. If your oc was on Hollow Shades the village where bat ponies lives it is gonna be hard to accept because that Rainbow pony could not be attemped to night and he will or she will have problems with hiding and other stuff

First of all, those rules were fan made. They are not apart of MLP. Taesuga's colors of there character fits perfectly. My character is a bat species character & my character has Autumn bright colors.

Even if these rules are fan made, it doesn't mean that they are illogical. Look straight to that topic. Look how real animals (in this case bats) are adapted to the world wich is surrounds them. They aren't pink, they aren't blue they are grey, tones of greyish brown to ADAPTED to night, nature and their own hunting. Bat ponies are very the same system as bats irl. They have to be so dark B E C A U S E THEY LIVE AT NIGHT so, they can be not as easy to be detect by others and hunt for their own food, because not every bat can be a vegetarian. Bat Ponies. Night. Does those words such as "rainbow" "pink" and "pastel orange" etc. are associated with "night", "darkness" "moon" etc? I think it's not. Look for season 2 episode Luna Eclipsed, when Hasbro first have shown to us a Bat Ponies. THEY ARE DARK. Mane, coat. How do you think, why they don't made them pink or white?
