personally I prefer the name salvage, mainly on account of the theory that he is an amalagamtion of all of the old animatronics :3

The description of FNaF 3 on the Steam Greenlight page said that there was merely a "discovery", and not a "creation".
The name "Salvage" would still fit because he was an old animatronic that had been salvaged from a place where he was left to rot...
