just trying to depict my relations with my conscience
though i don't like that english word.. latvian word is better.. we call it "sirdsapzina" - hearts consciousness...
hmz.. maybe i should drew it a bit dirtyer

maybe i just could choose other colors and color the person darker.. and his conscience light.. cuz the voice of our heart is what some times keeps us from doing wrong things...
but yep.. there is that yin/yang in us.. voice of our mind VS. voice of our heart

Well i would say a person has grown..and been very wise when realising that u shud listen to ur heart at times....And when it comes to that different story of falling in love in the wrong person...atleast uve fallen there once..then theres hope to fall again..but in the right person....

lol, it can be applied to anything
the dark blue/light blue works overall to fit in because that's the colour scheme you're working with. If you used another colour within this it'll be too distracting, but it might work, say, if you changed the whole thing to reddish/orange monochrome or shades of green

that's why i like the latvian word more.. cuz already in that word is the meaning that heart has it's own mind, consciousness or cognition..
as for colors.. i realy doubt i will ever get used to use reddish ir green colors.. those are the ones i don't see very good.. maybe some times in some works yes.. but sure not as much as yellow and blue

I like it that candles are sometimes replacing lightbulbs..although the lightbulbs do have style. Geez...this ability of yours to transfer emotion into visual with such minimalism, i'm in awe each time anew.

here just wasn't room for lightbulb.. that frame thing is crazy enought.. i didn't want to spoil it with wire hanging...but i needed something to depict how person is always hoping for the best.. and looking at lightbulb could be quite painful.. but looking at candle that is about to end is a completely different case

probably.. well.. last year i was working with all shades of yellow.. now it's blue.. you see.. i'm partialy colorblind, so i have no reason to make works in full color that i can't enjoy myself
so.. now it's a blue period.. who knows what will be next
