Thank you very much! It was a press photo job, so i wasn't allowed to manipulate the photos naturally, and i descided to keep them like that when i put them up here.

I don't use frames for anyones liking, i use them to separate my picture from the not very good looking greenish colour of deviantArt. Just like i use a passepartout on a picture i put in a frame and hang on my wall. So believe me, i did not put a thick black frame around it without thinking about it first.

Don't get mad. It's just my opinion. You don't have to like it. I said it because 2/3 of your picture is black ... thick black frame is just to much ... try with thin black and then thick white ... it woud looke much batter ... but that's just my opinion...

I didn't mean to sound mad. I'm just a bit tired of hearing that the frame of a pic is not good (i get a lot of that, and i think that if you can't say anything negative about the picture itself, why look for something to say about the frame?) - i personally never comment on anyones frame, it is the picture itself that is the focus for my comments, and to me a frame is not a part of the picture, but a way to separate it from the surrounding environment. I usually stick with these thick frames, either in black or white, i don't generally like coloures frames (which is why i don't like the colour of deviantArt as a frame), and i always try both black and white when i prepare the picture for publishing, and pich whichever i think fits best. And in this series of ballet pics i found that white was too bright.
