Greate work!  I really like the atmosphere and the color of the place.  It feels like it's a warm summer evening. like the color of the sky. the only thing  -  the trees. slightly add a shadow. since the light from the moon is more from above, it seems to me that it is necessary to add more bright spots of light precisely over the upper contour of trees.

Thank you very much. Colouring this was a fun experiment for me as this was the first time I coloured a night sky and water, and I was quite pleased with the way those bits turned out.
For the trees, do you mean shadows needed to be more darker or castings more shadow? I feared I may have made them to light as drawing shadows are one of my weak point as I can never get them to look right. Always worried it looks too dark or too light in colour and could never decide on a final look. I was never quite happy with they way they looked in the end and it is something that I definitely need to work on.
You are correct about needing light over the upper contour of the trees, kinda forgot to do that, thank you for pointing that out.

Thank you for your constructive comment, it really great, and helpful, to get advice from someone so very skilled.

THank you so much for your words) I have experience mostly in animal studies)
just look - if you desaturate your drawing - then the trees begin to merge with the surrounding. the tone is the same. so you can safely make them more contrast, bright patches of light to add on the edge of the trees from above. I also have such fear - I'm afraid too dark or light to do - do not be afraid, try.
P.S. sorry for my english))

Well, it could be a cold Winter night. I really like the sky and the water, but I think the reflection of the moon is out of place. For the rocks, you could maybe make the outlines a little bit bigger because the rocks are now a bit blended in the background, you don't have a clear foreground, that's what a piece of work most of the times make it a strong artpiece, a clear foreground. If you cut half of the water and remove the reflection of the moon your work would be more balanced. The birds and clouds are very good, I like the detail of the bird on the rock, and I think that you did the fox and character also well.

This is for the Comment tag from ProjectComment? You need to choose a new tag word for me so I can start looking at the next artist. Also yeah your tag word is a little difficult seeing as I don't have any winter themed picture in my gallery. But it does get cold at night so that a clever way to figure it out.
As for this drawing, there are a couple of things I need to clarify. The line art is not mine, it was done by artist Ry-Spirit and it was part of an event that happen a couple of weeks ago on this site. The line art can be viewed at the image below.

We were given this line art to practice our colouring and then we can submit it to see if it will chosen for the gallery. That is why the outline is at it is because I only focused on the colouring. Landscape colouring is not my strongest area with drawing and I saw this as a opportunity to practice my skills in that area. It also why there is no clear foreground as it not my line art, it focus is the landscape and scenery. It also why there so much water there as there was a whole section of underwater that I decided not to do  because I believe seeing as it night time you would not see the underwater at night, and also because I was running out of time for submission. Plus I like the way the water looked that I decided to keep it as it is and cutting it might affect whether it get chosen for the gallery and it be handy for me to have for reference if I do drawing with more water in the future.

With the explanation out of the way we move on to the rest of your comment. I glad you like the sky and water. I done skies before in my other drawing but never at night and with a big glowing moon in it. I was quite happy with the way it turned out. It the same with the water. My first time working on water and I was quite surprised at the way it looked and how quick and easy it was to colour it. As for the reflection of the moon, I've been debating back and forth with myself about if it should be there or not. I put it in since I reasoned that it a bright moonlit sky and the water being calm you would see some reflection of it in the water, but yeah I'm not entirely happy with the way it turned out.

As for the rocks, yeah It does blend into the background a bit, I wasn't going to change the outline as I was just focusing on the colouring and so I try to fix it to make the rock more redder then the cliff. Colouring rocks, cliff and mountains are not one of my strong point (Part of the reason I decided to do this is because there so much cliff to practice on) and I just did the best I can with it. It turned out better then I thought it would, but it can be improved upon.

Thank you for the comment and I shall need you to send me a tag word.

When they linked the comment on the Comment Tag journal they listed the tag-word of "sea." I didn't know if you saw that or not, but since they hadn't replied to you yet, I thought I'd just drop a line. Thank you.
