>> My half of a trade with , featuring her character Bloodhewn. I hope I drew him right ^^'It's finally done 8D! The theme was "flow" (hence the title), and I had a completely different idea in mind when I started working on it this Saturday, but I realized I couldn't draw it right, so I started it over
. And rocks are horrible, horrible things to draw. I'm both glad and angry that the snow covers most of the cliff XD

A wonderful and beautifully detailed piece. The compostion has been thoughtfully composed and pulls of fantastically with the contrast of dark brown and shades of white.
I particularly like the leaping pose and how the wings fan out. I also love the snow flurry across the subject and every strand of hair in the mane and tail.
The main antomy is fantastic along with the shading. I suggest to add darker shadows under the wings, espcially where the joint in the wing is.
The background goes extremely well and really finishes this piece off. Just a tip for the mountains in the background, try some different shapes besides 'triangular' and depending on how far they are in the distance, they would be harder to see, so minimising the detail and sharpness on them gives effect they are further away.
