When Courtney saw the others, she knew that there was something wrong with them. She did her best to warn her Aunt Lucinda, but the older woman just wasn't having it. "Zombies, that's rediculous," she had said, followed by, "You're just being silly now." But it was only a few minutes later that the horde was upon them. And when she saw that her aunt had been bitten, she knew it was time to run. There was nothing more that she could do. She only hoped that the hotel would be safe. If not, then there was always the boat.

Courtney did her best to battle the tears. Her aunt was gone, and she knew this. But she had to focus now. She had to run.
